- Added seeds to the newly redone upper bed:
- Mokum Carrot
- Red Cored Chantenay Carrot
- Deep Purple Bunching Onion
- Cherry Belle Radish
- Rover Radish
- Mini Mak Daikon Radish
- Planted two eggplants transplants, Millionaire & Rosa Bianca. The best sun exposure for them is where the carrots are finishing up. So they got planted between the carrot rows. We’ll see how that goes.
- Finally got a chance to deal with the green onions and all of the parsley that came out of the redone raised bed. Parsley leaves stripped, chopped, and in the freezer with some olive oil.
- Pulled the tiny green onions from the pot on the patio and two more Tonda di Parigi carrots.
- I think the green onions were overcrowded which is why they’ve been so tiny. The few where there were only a couple of plants in the clump survived grew much bigger. Next time — thinning!
