- Harvested a cucumber, beans, Roma tomatoes, and Indigo Cherry Drops.
- Finally gave up and harvested the mini eggplant that stalled out. Hopefully this will encourage more to grow.
- Really trimmed back one of the basil plant groups that was starting to look a little sad. Hopefully this will trigger some new growth in the plants that remain. Nursery transplants containing a bunch of little basil plants were a nice way to get more basil quickly. But even after thinning the smallest ones, the competition between the little plants means that each one isn’t nearly as robust as the individual plants I started from seed.
- Today’s garden to table lunch: tomatoes, cucumbers, leeks, carrots, and herbs from the garden mixed with couscous, sunflower seeds, and a vinaigrette.
